Treatment When Clinically Appropriate

Treatment recommendations are individualized and may include education, lifestyle measures, management of contributing factors, or prescription medication when medically appropriate.

Prescription treatment is not suitable for every patient. Before recommending medication, the clinician will consider your health history, current medications, possible interactions, contraindications, and any need for laboratory testing or an in-person examination.

Scheduling a consultation does not guarantee that medication will be prescribed or that a particular treatment will be recommended. All treatment decisions remain under the independent professional judgment of the treating clinician.

Ongoing Care And Monitoring

If treatment is initiated, your clinician will establish an appropriate follow-up plan based on the treatment selected and your individual needs. Ongoing care may include:

  • Monitoring your response to treatment

  • Reviewing side effects and safety concerns

  • Reassessing contributing medical or medication-related factors

  • Reviewing laboratory results when indicated

  • Adjusting, pausing, or discontinuing treatment when appropriate

  • Referring you for in-person or specialty care when necessary
